Companion Stairlifts are a subsidiary of Minivator Ltd producing stairlifts at our Midlands based site for over 27 years (most of this period under the name of Sunrise Medical; Sunrise director buy-out saw the company re-named Minivator). The principal Directors have many years of experience in the stairlift industry.

Until Companion Stairlifts was established, Minivator dealt specifically with installing to exacting local authority standards primarily to the trade sector. Companion Stairlifts supplying England are the direct sales & marketing division of Minivator

All Companion stairlifts are manufactured & installed at Minivators’ Kingswinford site to exacting BSI standards. Also, it is the Minivator engineers who install & service/support the lifts under the warranty agreement included with each lift.

All Companion staff have had full product training, with the majority of employees coming from ‘mobility-aids’ based backgrounds. The average experience for each member of staff is 7 years within the mobility sector.
