Every Companion stairlift is made to measure in our factory – built to fit the exact dimensions of your staircase so when the stairlift arrives for installation at your home, it can be slotted into place with the minimum of fuss and disruption. Following the technical survey of your staircase, your made to measure stairlift can be installed in as little as 72 hours. Our rapid installation service can be particularly useful if a stairlift needs to be fitted within a tight timeframe eg somebody leaving hospital. We will always work with you accommodate your timescales, so if you need a stairlift urgently, please let us know and will pull out all the stops to have it with you as quickly as possible.

Some stairlift companies may promise to fit your lift in under an hour. At Companion, we prefer to take our time and make sure we give you the quality of service you deserve – especially as for many people, buying a stairlift can represent a large financial and emotional decision.

Our installation service also includes training on how to use the stairlift, giving you the opportunity to ask as many questions as you would like. Our stairlift installation specialist will only leave you once you are completely happy and confident with your stairlift. We will also tidy up after ourselves and remove any packaging and dust so the only thing left for you to do is to get on with enjoying your stairlift and your new-found independence – free from the worry of climbing the stairs.
