Help the Aged hosts a Glitz and Glam Charity ball!

Stairlift company Companion Stairlifts hosts Celebrity Ball for Help the Aged.

Gusieley based stairlift firm Companion Stairlifts (part of the Minivator group who work in partnership with Help the Aged) have brought their employees together to host a star studded event at the Cedar Court Hotel in Bradford in order to try raise £20,000.00 for Help the Aged. The Glitz and Glam ball will be the event of the year!

Taking place from 7.00pm onwards on Saturday 04th April 2009, we will see celebrity’s guest speakers, questions and answer session from one of the worlds loved ex boxers and we also have some of the cast from Emmerdale there on the evening. Tables have been sold to local businesses throughout West Yorkshire which we feel is a great way to help one another especially in the current financial climate. This is so that we can help raise vital funds for disadvantaged older people in the UK and overseas.

Commenting on the ball Louise Parkes, Head of Corporate, Event and Trust Fundraising at Help the Aged commented: "We are delighted that Minivator are hosting such a dazzling night on behalf of Help the Aged - and with the chance to meet Frank Bruno and Sir Henry Cooper, the evening promises to be a star-studded one! All funds raised will go towards helping free disadvantaged older people from poverty, isolation and neglect, so you'll have the chance to dance the night away and really make a difference!"
